The name

Aunties are the ones everyone turns to for support.

We drive, help out, host gatherings, remember important things, and are always there. IRON AUNTIES helps you build the strength to keep being there for your loved ones—and for yourself.

We offer one-on-one online strength and nutrition coaching for women 50 and older. The main program, Built to Last, runs for 16 weeks and includes a personalized strength plan, weekly coaching calls, and practical nutrition advice. Coach Yvette leads the program.

What strength is for

Strength you can feel in your life.

Once you turn 50, the number on the scale matters less than you might think.

During and after menopause, women lose muscle and bone more quickly. Strength training after 50 helps protect both. The numbers that really shape how you age are often overlooked by most diets.

Muscle

Muscle helps you climb stairs, lift objects, and carry things. If you don't work to maintain it, muscle is the tissue you lose the fastest.

Bone

As estrogen levels drop, resistance training is one of the best ways to keep your bones strong.

Balance

Strength and balance help you stay steady and independent as you age.

IRON AUNTIES is coaching, not medical care. If you have osteoporosis, a heart condition, or another diagnosis, coaching works alongside your doctor's advice.

I tried almost everything. What finally worked was slower: one habit at a time, relearning portions, and training with a plan. Over about 18 months, I lost 110 lb. I'm building my next decades the same way I'll help you build yours.

What you can count on.

You'll know the why

Every part of your program comes with a reason you can understand.

No extremes

No detoxes, crash diets, food bans, or punishing workouts.

Adjusted for real life

Travel, holidays, and hard weeks change the plan, not your progress.

A plan for after

You finish with a clear next step, not a cliff edge at week 16.

Eat for strength.

Enough protein and energy to build muscle, meals that fit real life, and a plan for travel, holidays, and eating out. Tracking is optional. This is coaching, not medical nutrition therapy.

Protein first

Enough protein to build and keep muscle.

Real meals

Food that fits your life and your kitchen.

Eating out

A plan for restaurants, travel, and holidays.

Nutrition Q&A

Optional, every week.
