Questions, answered plainly.
Everything you might want to know before you begin — about fit, equipment, nutrition, scheduling, injuries, travel, and what happens after 16 weeks.
No. Clients begin at very different starting points. Whether you have been training for years or have not exercised in a long time, the program is built around where you are now.
No. The program is designed for women 50+, and there is no upper age limit.
Not necessarily. Programming reflects the equipment available to you, whether that is a full gym, a few dumbbells at home, or bodyweight only.
Fat loss may be part of your goal, but the program also focuses on strength, muscle, fitness, and physical capability. How much weight loss matters is something we figure out together.
No. Tracking may be useful for some clients, but it is not automatically required. Nutrition coaching is built around practical skills, not a mandatory tracking app.
You have a scheduled coaching touchpoint each week, with a longer program and movement review roughly every four weeks and shorter coaching check-ins during the other weeks.
Programming can be modified where appropriate. When something falls outside the coach's scope of practice, you may be referred to a medical or allied health professional.
Training and nutrition can be adapted around travel and real life. Programs are designed to flex with your schedule, not break the moment you leave home.
The final phase reviews your progress, establishes what you should continue doing, and determines appropriate next steps — including a continuation plan.
No. Workouts are delivered through Everfit, but a printable option is available for clients who prefer not to use an app.
No. IRON AUNTIES provides fitness and nutrition coaching, not medical care or medical nutrition therapy. Where medical guidance is appropriate, you will be referred to a qualified professional.
That is exactly who this is for. The point is not another plan you abandon — it is a process built around your actual life that you can stay with long enough to see what your body can do.
